Raffles always are a good option for fundraising, but finding prizes to raffle can be very tough, like pulling teeth. And I knew that a raffle at my school would only work if there were interesting raffle prizes...
So I went to the mall one Saturday afternoon, expecting it to be easy to find stores that would be willing to donate a gift card or a small item to raffle off. At every store, however, I got the same speech: "You have to call cooperate"
