Youth Camp ALMA, Actividades Lideres Mujeres Adolescentes (Activities for Adolescent Female Leaders)
Project Launch:
Camp ALMA (Actividades Lideres Mujeres Adolescentes) will bring together 50 girls from different communities across the Trujillo region who have been identified as budding leaders and inspiring examples for their peers. The girls will participate in a four-day camp, training to become active community members and leaders focused on promoting sexual health, youth entrepreneurship and/or life planning. Each girl will design a custom series of workshops based on one of the camp’s three focus areas to take home to her community and deliver to groups of youth on an ongoing basis.
