Construction Of a Pottery Studio, Supply of Pottery Equipment And Enrichment Training Program.

Nata Nenyo Potters Association will use $5,000.00 funding from World Connect to construct a pottery studio, supply pottery equipment and conduct an enrichment training program for the Nata Nenyo Potters Association of Torgome. The project is expected to directly impact a total of 2,323 women and 470 men who are already active in the pottery trade. Pottery making provides an essential economic benefit to the people of Targome township and the construction of the studio will help boost production capacity by 40% and make the products commercially competitive as women in this business will no longer be using the manual method of pottery making.
