Hope Again Plus Initiative
Project Launch: 9-8-21
In Nto Edino, community members are primarily subsistent farmers and traders. They earn a living by planting, harvesting and selling their produce in the local markets and neighboring markets. Hope Again Plus Initiative focuses on community members with diabilities, many of whom are stigmatized and marginalized. Persons with disabilities will be afforded the opportunity to be training in cucumber farming in an effort to create a new source of income for them and to improve their economic well-being. Beneficiaries will learn to grow and sell cucumbers as well as basic business skills training to ensure the venture's success.
