Isimbi Support House
Project Launch: 12-20-21
This project will establish the Isimbi Support House in Bastinda in Kigali city. The house will be a permanet space for women who have traditionally worked selling fruits in the informal market, which is no longer allowed in Kigali, to receive vocational skills and support to enter the formal economy. The house will launch with a focus on sewing and knitting, providing women with three months of training and then offering a pay as they earn program to purchase their own machines.
